I love it when I get brides who have the same name as myself. Growing up there wasn't a lot of Whitneys around, so whenever I meet other Whitneys it makes me feel connected to them in some way. For Jacob and Whitney's engagement session we decided on sticking to the downtown area of Manhattan, KS, and then finding a nice background for sunset time. I don't often shoot in downtown Pontyz, but with their session it made me realize how much it actually has to offer. First of all, both Jacob and Whitney are models. And I do say this often about couples, but seriously they are models. I was very surprised of how quickly they both could change the mood of scene and give me something more than the typical engagement shot.
